By creating an account or sending form submissions through LightStore endpoints, you agree to these Terms of Service. LightStore provides developer infrastructure for collecting and routing forms. You retain full ownership of all data submitted through your forms and agree not to use the Service for deceptive, abusive, or unlawful activities.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and LightStore ("LightStore", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms govern your access to and use of our website, APIs, client dashboard, ingestion gateways, and documentation (collectively, the "Service").
By accessing the Service, creating an account, or submitting data through a LightStore endpoint URL, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Description of the Service
LightStore provides developer-centric headless form infrastructure. Features include:
- Form endpoint generation with custom slugs and multi-tenant workspace isolation.
- Universal HTTP POST ingestion supporting JSON bodies and standard HTML form payloads.
- Automated anti-spam filtering, honeypot mitigation, and rate limiting.
- Outbound dispatch and forwarding to third-party destinations (Google Sheets, Discord, Slack, Telegram, Notion, Email, and Custom Webhooks).
- Submission telemetry, payload inspection, and CSV data export.
- Programmatic API access via authenticated encrypted API keys.
3. Account Registration and Security
To utilize the dashboard and generate endpoints, you must register for an account directly or authenticate via Google OAuth. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.
You are responsible for safeguarding the credentials and API keys associated with your account. You agree not to disclose your API secrets to unauthorized third parties. You must immediately notify LightStore of any unauthorized access or security breach regarding your account.
4. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to use the Service, or permit any third party to use the Service, to:
- Conduct deceptive phishing schemes, fraudulent impersonation, or credential harvesting.
- Transmit malware, viruses, malicious scripts, or denial-of-service payloads.
- Collect sensitive financial data (such as raw credit card numbers or banking passwords) in violation of PCI-DSS standards.
- Generate unsolicited bulk spam, automated bot floods, or harass individuals.
- Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international laws or privacy regulations.
LightStore reserves the right to immediately suspend or terminate any form endpoint, API key, or workspace that violates this Acceptable Use Policy without prior notice.
5. Data Ownership and Intellectual Property
Your Content and Submissions: You retain all ownership, rights, and title to the form submission payloads ingested through your endpoints. LightStore claims no intellectual property rights over the data submitted by you or your end users.
LightStore Property: The Service, including our proprietary software, API architectures, user interfaces, branding, trademarks, and documentation, are the exclusive property of LightStore and its licensors.
6. Public Beta and Service Plans
During the LightStore Public Beta, access to both the Developer Free tier and Pro / Agency tier is provided at zero cost ($0/month) with no credit card required.
LightStore reserves the right to introduce paid tier upgrades in the future with reasonable advance notice. Beta participants will be granted grandfathered access or clear notice prior to any billing modifications.
7. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
IN NO EVENT SHALL LIGHTSTORE, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA LOSS, OR SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
8. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your workspaces and account from the dashboard. LightStore may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for operational maintenance.
